Hi, I'm Doc Ed and I’m 78, born in Brooklyn. N.Y.; graduated med. school, 1966; started on "2" wheels in 1946; 1st. bike, a Wizzer (still have); have owned over 50 bikes, current, 2011 CVO Screaming Eagle Road Glide Ultra; 1999 BMW K1200 LT;  Was chief instructor with the Motorcycle Safety Foundation, (MSF)/ NY State Motor Vehicle Dept. ., (1986-1996); 67 yrs. with American Motorcycle Assoc. (AMA); Life member of  HOG since it's inception, (28 years); 1st HOG Drill Team ever; member and a past pres. of Cross Island M.C.,(67 year. old club); Co-founder of Motorcycling Doctors Assoc. & a past pres.,(35 years. old, still a member); member of both Miami and Ft. Lauderdale Hog for the last 10 years; retired from active practice in 2001, moved here permanently in 2003; combining my passion for riding and helping "kids".

Born in Brooklyn New York;

Wife of  "Doc. Ed. N. Szerlip"

,35 years; retired Teacher (Special Ed.); Mother of 3 boys, Mike, Gregg, and Guy; Grandmother of 6, (4 girls, 2 boys), Samantha, Alex, Anna, Felicia, Ethan and  Zakary, (a new one); a wonderful navigator/pillion rider  with over                                              1/4 millian miles in the saddle over 36 years on multiple motorcycles, "becomes part of the bike"; "lover" of all animals, especially dogs; had her own business, a 501c(3) corporation, (New York & Federal), "Nassau Animal Rescue & Adoption, Inc., Long Island, New York, for over 30 years; always keeps "Doc". on the right course"!!!
